Foxy’s Field, Oldham

One of our favourite places to take our poochon and cavapoochon dogs, Biscuit and Castiel is Foxy’s Dog Field located in Royton, Oldham.

This field is one of a few similar fields in our local area, but in our opinion, Foxy’s Field is the best. It is easy to book the field via Instagram. You have the option to book the field for one hour or more. It is also possible to book the field for either 1 or 2 dogs, or for up to 6 dogs. Once the booking is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. On the day of the booked visit, a code is sent either via text message or email. This code unlocks the padlock on the gate. 2 cars can be parked inside the field making this great for meeting up with friends or family. If more cars are arriving, there is one space outside the field by the gate. Once parked inside the field and the gate is secured, your pooches can run free!

Foxy’s Field

The field is extremely secure, I have walked the full perimeter multiple times and the fences and privets are in good condition and there are no gaps for smaller dogs to squeeze through. Each fence is at least 4 feet tall making it secure for larger dogs too. The field itself is relatively flat and absolutely huge measuring around 3 acres. It really is the perfect place to give the dogs a good old run around to tire them out.

There is a bench for dog parents to rest their weary legs and water bowls are provided too. There is also a bin for dog waste. Foxy’s Fields enjoys keeping up with the seasons and festivities, at Halloween, the field is decorated accordingly. The same goes for Christmas, Easter and the World Cup! The owners encourage visitors to share pictures of their dogs enjoying the field on social media. It’s always lovely to see the variety of dogs visiting the field.

Visitors are encouraged to leave 5 minutes before the hour to ensure the field is ready for the next visitor to use.

We love Foxy’s Field. It’s a great place for us to meet up with our friends and fellow dog parents for a good old catch-up while the dogs play!
